Update notification when collecting or delivery of vehicles

We have taken steps to keep you and our staff safe when you’re collecting or having vehicles delivered. We’ve implemented a strict appointment only policy. In other words, we recommend you phone or place bookings via We will continue to adapt in order to do the right thing for you and our colleagues.

In line with government advice, we are open manned by a small number of staff but we again prefer if you do not visit without prior notice. Until the government changes its guidance, we will only accept reservations by phone or online. We are maintaining a limited delivery service. Where possible we recommend arranging collection from the nearest rental desk. In order to keep you and drivers safe deliveries are abiding by the Governments proximity guidance. Where more than one colleague is needed to safely deliver an item, colleagues will travel separately to deliver the order. 

We are limiting the number of people allowed in our rental offices to one person only. When it is busy, you may need to queue to enter the rental office, also you may need to wait for your reservation to be processed. We have introduced queuing systems in all rental sites to help keep everyone a safe distance apart. 

If you do need to return a vehicle, please contact your hire representative. In line with our usual returns policy to ensure the site is open.  If you need to cancel an online reservation, please telephone the relevant rental desk and we will refund as fast as possible. These changes are inconvenient but essential and we hope you can understand that we are doing our best to do the right thing for you.
