Coronavirus: Help and assistance during pandemic
GBV Rentals Management wish to re-assure you that we have implemented strict rules and procedures when visiting or staff attending to a delivery/collection or repair/maintenance. It’s important to try and keep social distance (two metres) on site and we ask you to take careful notice of the markings/signs on the doors and pavement in our car parks to help you to maintain safe distances. Where necessary, we will limit the flow of people coming into our office to ensure no congesting. Hand sanitisers are being placed around in the office for customers and colleagues to use, as well as extra cleaning wipes. We’re providing the delivery/collection team and mechanics with masks and gloves to minimise contact with customers as much as possible, although this is still optional. We have strict hygiene routines in office with regular and thorough cleans every day. We have introduced provisions to minimise close contact during vehicle hand-over. We ask all online customers to let us know when you are to arrive on site. Please let us know if they is anyone is remotely vulnerable or have been self-isolating.
GBV Rental Management are working around the clock to provide assistance to you during the coronavirus crisis. The Government have made it clear that we can continue collections and deliveries. We will do our utmost to continue providing the very best service levels and work to mitigate non-essential vehicle deliveries and collections during the lockdown. In these circumstances, specific arrangements have been introduced to manage any risk of infection. We want to support all customers that need transportation, but obviously have to do so within the confines of Government legislation and network opening availabilities
We're asking customers to get in touch with us directly where you can discuss options with our dedicated management team. Although working at a limited capacity we ask for you to remain patient and understanding when arranging servicing, MOT, maintenance and repairs, The fleet engineers and management are operating under the strict guidance from the Department of Transport and DVLA. you may experience a delay in resolving a mechancal emergency or tyre/glass repair, and again ask for you to remain understanding and patient. Keeping the fleet mobile is the main priority. Tyre replacements and routine servicing can be booked by contacting your rental desk representative or fleet manager by e-mail or phone.
We’re pleased to see that the Government has provided increased support for businesses during this difficult time and are also looking at other initiatives which may alleviate some of the immediate worry. Through commitment and dedication from all our staff, including remote working and connected technology – we're confident you will continue to receive the very best service and support.
